Domain Martinus is a true family business, run by Lode Van der Auwera and Runa Van Besauw. Together with their four children - Loran, Lotte, Louise and Lolita - they have developed their passion for hospitality, top service and refined gastronomy to perfection.

From an early age, the children helped out in the business, and today they still contribute to the success of Domain Martinus. One daughter plays a regular role in the daily operations, while another daughter, during her sabbatical year, shines as permanent maître. The two eldest daughters also remain involved and active in the business.


For Lode, the real passion lies in the kitchen. From growing his own vegetables and herbs to taking inspiration from starred restaurants, he is always striving for new culinary perfection. Runa, on the other hand, welcomes you with her warm smile. Behind the scenes, she is the driving force that keeps everything running smoothly. Whether it's motivating the team or taking care of the smallest details, Runa makes sure the daily operation runs smoothly.
